This classy 1955 Chevy Bel-Aire convertible still sports the original small-block V8. What’s significant about that 1955 was the first year for the infamous Mouse Motor. To see it in it’s original glory, wrapped in such a beautiful car, makes you appreciate the so-called “boring” guys who do nothing but straight restorations.

This sweet rear fender was found at the AMC Manitoba car show last week, attached to a ’55 Chevy Convertible. The meticulously restored Chebby still has the original ’55 small-block, with the original (and kinda rare) sock-style oil filter.
